after defeating thanos, captain america put the infinity stones back in their places.
when it came to relinquish the time stone, however,
she instead traveled to 1945, hijacked the zola mission,
and saved bucky barnes from falling off the train.
he never became the winter soldier. in that timeline, at least.
she soon learned, upon being captured by the TVA, that it was only one of many.
she then stole a tempad and escaped.
